Morganite is a gorgeous Pink Beryl, beryllium aluminum silicate, and it is categorized as a semi-precious gemstone first discovered in 1910 in Madagascar. It forms in solidified silica-rich hydrothermal fluid deposits within pegmatites. Its stunning color occurs when manganese or cesium meets the colorless gemstone. It was named after financier J.P. Morgan. It is the second most popular non-diamond gemstone, after Sapphire, and is one of the rarest of Beryls, second only to Red Beryl. It is the gemstone for November and highly resistant to scratches due to its hardness.
Metaphysically, Morganite is believed to open wearers to unconditional love while dissolving ego.
